The High Criminal Court’s judgment of 11 October 2023 upheld the first-instance decision of 6 June 2022. Its 27 June 2024 announcement confirms the final acquittal of six defendants on the waste-procurement charges. The court found no damage or unlawful gain and said the contract price was below market prices. Convictions within the wider proceedings concern other charges, not this procurement. Those unrelated convictions do not change the acquittal on the waste count.
